West Bengal: 17-12 months-Outdated Dies After Container Bomb Explodes In Rubbish Dump

New Delhi: A 17-year-old boy was killed on Saturday when a container bomb exploded in a rubbish dump in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district, police instructed information company PTI. The incident occurred in Ajamtala behind Rahara police station, round 15 km from Kolkata, they stated. The bomb which was in a container exploded after Sheik Salim took it after from his father and threw it in direction of a lamppost. Shiekh’s father discovered the container whereas clearing the rubbish dump, police stated.

“Sheikh was first rushed to Barrackpore BN Bose Sub-divisional Hospital, after which to Sagar Dutta Hospital the place he was declared introduced lifeless,” a senior police officer stated.

A big contingent of police was deployed within the space because the incident triggered panic among the many locals. 

An investigation is underway to search out who saved the bomb there, police stated.

Late final month, in the same incident, as many as 5 youngsters had been injured in crude bomb explosions in West Bengal’s Malda.

These bombs had been saved close to a bush in a Mango area, considering these had been balls, the kids started taking part in with them, which is when the bombs exploded. Three youngsters sustained grievous accidents and had been admitted to Malda Medical School and Hospital, whereas two had been admitted to Kaliachak well being centre, based on media stories.
